Natural flea remedies are often a necessity, especially during flea season, if you have pets like dogs or cats at home.  Commencing in early spring, when fleas start to hatch and infest the pets and living areas, up to December, pet owners would surely need natural flea remedies, especially if they have not implemented preventive measures. Many dogs and cats are sensitive to chemicals, that is why, most pet owners would prefer using natural flea remedies to alleviate the vexing problem. These natural flea remedies include various solutions like, herbal shampoo that contains a combination of any of pine cedar, bergamot, rosemary, lavender, eucalyptus, citronella, juniper or geranium, diatomaceous earth, Amethyst, apple cider vinegar, onion and garlic, powdered yeast, dried chamomile flowers, dried bracken ferns, lemon peels in water, tansy, fennel, basil or mint, pennyroyal or other strong smelling herb, eucalyptus wool wash solution, derris powder, and many others.  The administration of these natural flea remedies vary from one to the other, and from one kind of pet to another. Some natural flea remedies should be taken in, like together with food, some are rubbed on the pet’s skin and fur, some are just placed in the pet’s environment (like the Amethyst), while others must be sprinkled on the pet and the surroundings. Some natural flea remedies are strong-smelling herbs that are recommended to simply be grown near dog houses or pet areas.
