Launched in the market in 1997, the Top Spot variety of Frontline flea treatment is well-suited for dogs aged eight weeks or older and weighing 22 pounds. Like the other kinds of Frontline flea treatments, it comes in doses of six, thus, providing protection from fleas and ticks for six months.

This Frontline flea treatment is especially made for dogs and puppies. It is available in three color-coded presentations: purple for dogs weighing 45 to 88 pounds, blue for dogs weighing 23 to 44 pounds, and orange for puppies and dogs weighing zero to 22 pounds.
